  • Waist training corsets and such *caution- more brutal honesty

^yes, you can put your hands around this. yes, it's sick.Since I got so many questions and comments about waist training, I thought I'd post a little more about it. First, I want to mention it's probably not the healthiest or easiest way to slim your waist. It's painful and can be dangerous. I do it because I'm a sick individual and I am into being bonded and disciplined. Hell, my insides are probably all disfigured from years of abuse, but it makes me pretty, so I do it anyhow. Like I've mentioned, I have a high tolerance for pain. Wearing a corset at 18inches for a few hours is a walk in the park for me, but for many it would be torture to be bonded that tightly for even a few minutes. If you're still interested, read on...I get my corsets from a place called Dark Garden corsets. I think they have a website darkgarden.com . If you really want a good corset, it's going to cost you. I've bought a few $100 corsets from somewhere online (forgot the name) and they literally fell apart after wearing them a few times. The $100 corsets had the full metal boning, but they were just not constructed well. If the price seems too good to be true, it most likely is. The way I see it, you don't want to spend $100 on something that's gonna fall apart. So be cautious when ordering. After blowing a couple hundred on some duds, I just ended up sticking with what I trust. The cheapest waist trainer is about $250 from dark garden, but they are worth every penny. I've also purchased a waist trainer from trashy.com at $275. Dark garden is way better. The trashy waist trainer is cute, but not really strong or small enough. So Dark Garden is the only brand I would recommend as of now because it's what I use. I own over 30 corsets. Yes, it's expensive. Is it worth it? to me it is.So how to waist train....as much as I'd love to give you a personal how to on waist training, I'm no expert. I sort of just fell into it. All I know is that you don't magically become 18inches over night. It's a gradual process. You're supposed to start at around your waist size and gradually go tighter every time. That's not how I did it. I was about a 27" when I started and tightened down to a 23" with my first corset. I've gotten blisters and sores from overtightening too soon, but it didn't bother me. Nothing a bandage and some neosporin couldn't cure. You're not supposed to sleep in them, I've done that. You should train in cotton trainers, I've trained in whatever I thought was pretty at the moment. Did it kill me? Apparently not. Will it kill you? Who wants to know? haha. If you want to get into waist training the safe way, I'd say there is no safe way if you want results. haha. If you want to do it the fun way, well, you're going to have to genuinely think being in pain is fun. Here's some online jargon  with some tips on corset training here. There's some forum links and all that crap if you want to research before you get into it. To me, it's just a bunch of reading. I pretty much do what I want to do and pay the consequences (or not) later. So this probably didn't help much. (well, maybe the links did) I'm sure you ladies are a lot smarter and more cautious when it comes to your well being. I'd seriously advise against extreme corset training, but that would make me a hypocrite wouldn't it. Lets just say my digestive system aint what it used to be, but I have a killer hip to waist ratio which is scientifically proven to be universally sexy. Some say they would sell their soul for some killer measurements. You don't have to sell your soul just a bit of your health. Weigh your options. Is it worth it to me? Well, yes I am that vain. =P I hope I don't sound like a jerk in this post. I'm really trying not to sound negative, but I know it's hard to read someone's tone.  I'm just being my same old honest self. I think corsets are sexy as hell, just be careful. =)Hope you guys are having a great week. I'm getting over my flu. I was a lot sicker than I thought. It really fucked up my schedule, but things are getting better. Thanks for all the love. I really enjoy all of this virtual company. =) You ladies are  awesome. xoxo
